I'm sure people have seen these videos a dozen times but I wanted to make them available on the Arkonviox Network YouYube page. So far I am just posting the first three videos from the game and when I get a chance i'll post the final two, including the scene when Ecco confronts the Mutaclone.

The first video is from the prologue explaining the basic story premise and how the Humans and Dolphins are at war with the evil Foe

The second video occurs a little later in the game after the Foe have defeated the Guardian and have arrived on Earth. What I never got about this was why after defeating the Guardian do they decide to travel back in time, when they could have done this from the start. This is the only stupid thing about Ecco, Defender of the Future that made no sense.

After Ecco defeats the Foe in the past, a time vortex opens spreading the five Dolphin traits throughout time. What I like about this part of the story is it links the five traits with the five stars on Ecco's head.

What was disappointing was they could of paid tribute to the Genesis classic by having the quote "The Marks On Your Head Look Like Stars In The Sky". He's got the markings and they did tie it to the story but it would of helped the plot. I do love the Human Nightmare world, the dark desolate future was wonderful to explore and learn about.

I love the game Defender of the Future but you can tell it was written by a science fiction writer. Its like a high budget SyFy (SciFi) channel version of Ecco the Dolphin. If you ever seen the original Highlander movie and followed it up later with Highlander the Source then you know exactly what I'm talking about. The game is beautiful but the story doesn't have alot of logic behind it sometimes. Stay tuned as I post the rest of the videos with more commentary.
